 Xiomara Palma
Xiomara PalmaFounder & CEO Solvit HR

When Xiomara saw small business owners struggling to navigate complex HR regulations during the pandemic, she recognized a critical need for accessible and affordable support. Inspired to help protect entrepreneurs from costly compliance mistakes, she founded Solvit HR, a company dedicated to providing expert human resources guidance tailored to small businesses. Through her involvement with the Inland Empire Women's Business Center (IEWBC), Xiomara strengthened her business foundation by participating in workshops, receiving one-on-one counseling, and completing the Finish Line Finance program. Her hard work paid off when she earned 3rd place and a $500 grant in the IEWBC pitch competition, which she invested into a Google Ads campaign that generated new clients and increased sales. Reflecting on her experience, Xiomara shared, "It has been a pleasure working with IEWBC counselors. Their knowledge, guidance, and encouragement have helped me grow my business and achieve goals I once thought were out of reach."

Dianne Kerrick
Dianne Kerrick CEO Goodbutter Sourdough

What started as a passion for baking sourdough bread for her family during motherhood quickly grew into a thriving business for Dianne, founder of Goodbutter Sourdough. After relocating to Temecula in 2026, she turned her love of handmade, nourishing food into a business dedicated to bringing fresh artisan sourdough to the local community. Through the Inland Empire Women's Business Center's Thriving at a Marketplace program, Dianne received step-by-step guidance on obtaining the proper licenses, permits, and business registrations needed to operate legally and confidently. IEWBC also connected her with local marketplace opportunities, provided training on pricing, profitability, recordkeeping, visual merchandising, and marketing, and gave her the chance to showcase her products at Foodie Friday at no cost. "The Women's Business Center in the Inland Empire has been a valuable source of guidance for Goodbutter, helping direct me to local markets and supporting me in launching my business by securing the proper licenses and tying up important loose ends," shared Dianne. With the support of IEWBC, she successfully obtained her business license, registered her DBA, generated sales through marketplace events and online marketing, and built a strong foundation for the continued growth of Goodbutter Sourdough.
