Midpoint Spring 2017 Group Shot tightHere's how it works:

  • Kick start your business idea by completing your business plan, working one-on-one with a business counselor, and attending workshops on topics like effective business management, marketing, financial projections, and accounting. You’ll meet and work with other women who are passionate about their businesses and achieving success.
  • You will have about 90 days to complete the program.
  • Once you have completed all the workshops and turned in your business plan by the due date, you will be entered to win one of three prize packages that can help get your business off to a great start.
  • As part of the IYT program, you will join a community of women who strive to succeed in business, including established business owners who will mentor and inspire you at every step of your entrepreneurial journey.

Investment: The IYT program is offered at minimal cost with investments ranging from $25 to $130, depending on your income bracket. The program value is over $500 for the workshops alone, not including the free counseling and mentoring.

WBC News:

The big picture is made up of little pieces.

We love the fact that entrepreneurs dream big. Having that big vision gives start-ups something to reach for and work towards. The path to reaching your vision is made up of millions of small steps and small decisions. Planning and accomplishing smaller, more achievable goals can give you the confidence and experience to take bigger steps when the time is right and allow your business to grow at a sustainable pace.

Passion can carry you a long way.

Face it: starting a business takes guts, grit, and gusto.

Passion is what connects us to the why of our business, and it drives everything we do. It can get you through the hands-on building phase and remind you of all the reasons you’re putting in long days and late nights. Hold on to that passion and let it work for you!
